Community Garden
This year Oxford School Garden Group have decided to offer the use of four raised beds to individual families within the school. There is no cost associated with use of the garden beds, but of course you will have to provide your own plants and fertiliser. However, we would expect you to work with us in supporting the garden as a whole, helping to water and maintain all the beds over the summer.
Volunteers work in the garden every Tuesday evening beginning in June and a couple of Saturdays where we have work parties to clean up the school yard and trim trees.
If you are interested in gardening with us this summer then please email me at jaas56@hotmail.com, and tell us briefly why you would like to grow vegetables in raised beds. If there are more than 4 families who are interested, your interest and reasons for gardening will help us to decide who to select.
